HANOVER Anna May (Rosensteel) Todd, 79, went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 18, 2007, at Hanover Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert Harley Todd, a Baltimore City detective who was killed in the line of duty on August 24,1964. Born April 28, 1928, in Gettysburg, Anna was a daughter of the late Edmond Rosensteel and the late Hilda M. (Allwood) Grazier. Mrs. Todd was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Hanover. She was also an active volunteer for anumber of years with Meals on Wheels, Hanover. She retired from Commercial Credit Corp., Baltimore, Md., as an accounting manager, after many years of service. Her survivors include a daughter, Paula Todd Sutherland and husband, Sam ofHanover; two sisters, Mary Jane Rambo of New Oxford and Violet Yount of Moore, S.C.; a granddaughter, Tracey Anne Cole and husband, Jason of Glenville; a great-grandson, Joshua Robert Todd; and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeralservice will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 30 W. Chestnut St., Hanover, with the Rev. Matthew B. Pensinger officiating. Viewings will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday from the Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the church. Family and friends will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Baltimore National Cemetery, 5501 Frederick Ave., Baltimore, Md., for the committal service andburial. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in Anna's memory to Hanover Hospital, 300 Highland Ave., Hanover, PA 17331.
