Marian Vreeland Obituary
Vreeland, Marian H. (formerly of Britton, MI and Spring Hill, Florida) Age 89, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at Arbor Hospice in Ann Arbor. Marian was born June 16, 1916 in Samaria, Michigan the daughter of Joel and Florence (McClain) Hubbard. She married Sam Vreeland on August 28, 1948 and he survives. In her working years Marian as sisted several Doctors in Toledo, Ohio. In retirement she enjoyed golfing and travelling with Sam. In addition to her husband Sam, three daughters survive her, Nancy (Randy) Frazier of Columbus, KS, Sarah (Ira) Mark of Ann Arbor and Amy (Art Bodkin) of Greenfield, IN. Five granddaughters, Lori (Dane) Schimmel, Jamie (Ben) Washburn, Sarah Smith, Lindsay Smith and Rachel Mark and two great grandsons, Zane Schimmel and Cooper Washburn. One sister, Elizabeth Mallory, also survives her. In addition to her parents one brother, Joel Hubbard, preceded her in death
