Eldeen George Jones, 75, of Nashville, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 1996 at Pennock Hospital in Hastings.

He was born June 17, 1920 in Coleman to George and Addie (McCrumb) Jones.

He farmed all of his life and owned and operated the Eaton Rapids Farm Implement Sales. He also was banch manager for the Heating and Cooling Company of Lansing for 10 years. He was a member of the National Farmers Orgnization for many years, serving as district manager.

Surviving are his special friend, Doris Howard; children, Sharon King of Charlotte, Darwin Jones of Potterville and Beverly Wells of Cadillac; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Eugene Jones of Lansing.

Preceding hm in death were brothers, Orville, Bill and Herman Jones; and grandson Todd Jones.

Community involvement, hobbies: Enjoyed farming, traveling, and spending winters in Nokomis, Fla.

Visitation: noon-1 p.m. Monday at the Maple Valley Chapel-Genther Funeral Home, Nashville.

Services: 1 p.m. Monday at the Maple Valley Chapel-Genther Funeral Home, Nashville, with Rev. Susan Trowbridge officiating.

Burial: Kalamo Cemetery, Kalamo Township.

Memorials: Peace United Methodist Church at Barryville.

Arrangements: Maple Valley Chapel-Genther Funeral Home."
