Thomas "Tom" Edward Kosier June 29, 1948-June 17, 2023

Thomas "Tom" Edward Kosier, age 74, of Lansing, Michigan passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023.

Born and raised in Lansing, Tom obtained his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University, studying in the field of body detailing and art. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Tom married his beloved wife, Peggy Kosier, nearly 20 years ago and the two of them spent time living in Port Huron and Ontario, Canada before moving back to the Lansing area. His employment endeavors included Zebart, Bud Kouts Chevrolet of Lansing as well as screen printing and designing t-shirts.

Tom was an artistic man who found great delight in woodworking, woodcarving, making clocks and other wooden sculptures, and painting with watercolors and acrylic alongside his wife. He also enjoyed deer hunting with his son, Christopher.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Kosier; children, Frannie, T.J., Christopher, Emily, Vicky, Ryan, Michaela, Rebecca and Ashley; sister, Claudia; niece, Vanessa; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many extended family members. He is preceded in death by his sister, Frannie; and parents, Orie and Cloeta Kosier

the family would like to give special thanks to Sparrow Hospice, especially to nurses Kathy, Jen, and Christina for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
