John Cupps and Amey Cupps his wife formerly Amey Nugent of the County of Lawrence and State of Indiana sell to George Wilkinson of the County of Nelson and State of Kentucky for the sum of Seventy five dollars one undivided fifth part of Eighty seven and an half acres of land lying on the waters of Simpsons Creek in Nelson County Kentucky to which the said Amey Cupps wife of the afsd Jno Cupps is now entitled as heir to her Father Henry Nugent the same being the residue of one hundred and thirty one acres after allotting dower in the same to the widow of Henry Nugent deceased, to which the afsd Henry Nugent had obtained title by purchasing five parts of a tract of land containing three hundred acres to be divided into eight parts after allotting Dower to Elizabeth Adams, Widow of Richard Adams deceased which five eighths were purchased by the afsd Henry Nugent from the heirs of Richard Adams decd.
