She was a member of Third Presbyterian Church, Pittsburgh, and was a member of the Epoch Club, the 20th Century Club and the College Club, all of Pittsburgh. She was also a member of the Visiting Nurse Association. Born in Lancaster, she was a daughter of late Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Bucher. She was the wife of the late ' 'James Hervey Sherts, who died in 1969. Mrs. Sherts moved to Pittsburgh from Lancaster in 1928. She is survived by two sons, Charles H. Sherts, Pittsburgh, and William M. Sherts, Southport, Conn.; and seven grandchildren.
