Willibrord van Gijsel, werd op 19-9-1810 te Diessen gedoopt. Ongeveer sedert 1840 was hij molenaar te Riethoven. Hij trouwde met Johanna Catharina Vermeulen, aldaar op 31-3-1824 geboren uit het huwelijk van Johannes Vermeulen en Elisabeth Kroijmans. Van Gijsel c.s. vestigden zich later te Middelbeers, waar Willibrordus landbouwer was. Hij overleed er op 22-9-1868; Johanna Catharina stierf te Oost-, West- en Middelbeers op 9-10-1885. Uit dit huwelijk stamt een talrijk nageslacht, onder andere te Tilburg.
