Wilhelmus had een fabriek voor ijzeren gereedschappen aan de "Oude Lind" of "Oude Lient" (begin 19e eeuw "Aun d'LInde"). Een deel van het pand dateert uit 1823. Het betrof een boerderij, smederij, tapperij met beugelbaan. Het was gunstig gelegen aan de drukke grindweg van Horst naar Venray recht tegenover de oprijlaan van kasteel 'Ter Horst'. Wilhelmus bezat veel grond. Hij kon over eigen grond naar Castenray lopen. Uit het eerste huwelijk kwamen 2 en uit het tweede huwelijk
6 kinderen.
