Volgens het bevolkingsregister van Gilze en Rijen verhuist het gezin op 11-9-1928 naar Oosterhout. Op 14 september 1928 wordt het gezin daar in het bevolkingsregister ingeschreven.
Gerard Antoon vertrekt op 8 juli 1931 naar Ginneken c.a., maar zijn vrouw en kinderen zijn volgens de inschrijving al op 16 oktober 1929 daarheen vertrokken. In Oosterhout wonen ze achtereenvolgens in Dorst, Dorst en de Koestr? Het beroep van Gerard Antoon is eerst handelsreiziger en daarna hulpwachter?

Bevolkingsregister Ginneken: Op 2 januari 1933 vertrekt het gezin naar Breda, met uitzondering van Gerard Antoon. Die vertrekt volgens het bevolkingsregister op 18 juli 1939 naar Horst. Op 23 maart 1933 komt Johannes Baptist terug en op 2 augustus 1938 keert Maria Gertruda terug uit Breda in Ginneken.
