    In het jaar achttien honderd zes en zestig, den eersten July, ten zus ure naarmiddag voor ons Franciscus Huyghe, Burgemeester ambtebaar van den Burgerlijken Stand der gemeente Sint Laureyns, regterlijk arrondissement Gent, provincie Oostvlaanderen, is verschenen : Felix Ge Geeter, werkman, oud drie en derig Jaren alhier woonende Sectie C eerste straat, welke ons heeft vertoond een kind van het vrouwelijk geslacht geboren in deze gemeente op heden ten twaalf ure smiddags, van hem declarant en van Marie Philomene (?) Demeyer, zijne huisvrouw, oud vijfentwintig jaren, aan welk kind hij verklaard heeft te willen geve de voornamen van Emma Maria. De Voormelde verklaring en vertooning gedaan in de tegenwoordigheid van Engel Demeyer, werkman, oud zeven en vijftig jaren en Josephus Bockstael, ook werkman, oud zes en twintig jaren, beide alhier woonende, getuigen hier toe door den declarant aanzocht. En naar gedane voorlezing den vader met de beide getuigen hebben verklaard bij onkunde niet te kunnen schrijven en wij hebben deze akt alhier geteekend.
