      Eleonora van Anjou (augustus, 1289 - 9 augustus, 1341 was de derde dochter van Karel II van Napels en Maria Arpad van Hongarije. Zij huwde in 1302 met Frederik II van Sicilië. Haar vader en haar echtgenoot waren verwikkeld geweest in de opvolgingsstrijd om Sicilië en de Mezzogiorno. Het huwelijk was een onderdeel van diplomatieke inspanningen om vreedzame betrekkingen te ontwikkelen die zouden leiden tot de vrede van Caltabellotta (19 augustus 1302). Deze vrede verdeelde het koninkrijk Sicilië in een deel op het eiland en een deel op het schiereiland. Het eiland Trinacria genoemd, ging naar Frederik en de Mezzogiorno, in die tijd koninkrijk Sicilië genoemd en later koninkrijk Napels , ging naar Karel II van Anjou. Het verdrag bestendigde de feitelijke situatie. Zij was de moeder van:
