      Wladislaus I Herman (?, 1043 - Plock, 4 juni 1102), hertog van Polen, was een zoon van Casimir I van Polen en een broer van Boleslaw II de Stoute.

      Wladislaus Herman nam de macht over nadat zijn broer Boleslaw II de Stoute tot ballingschap was gedwongen in 1079, en werd gesteund door keizer Hendrik IV in een poging de vrede te herstellen.

      Wladislaus Herman huwde eerst in 1080 Judith Premysl, dochter van hertog Vratislav II van Bohemen, vervolgens Judith van Zwaben, dochter van keizer Hendrik III, die in 1063 gehuwd was geweest met koning Salomon van Hongarije (1052-1087).

      Bij Judith van Bohemen had hij een zoon, Boleslaw Scheefmond, en bij Judith van Zwaben had hij een dochter, Agnes van Gandersheim. Zbigniew was een onechte zoon van hem.
