      Sancha van Castilië (1154-1208) was het enige kind van Alfons VII van Castilië en diens tweede echtgenote Richeza van Polen. In 1174 trouwde zij met koning Alfons II van Aragón. Het paar kreeg volgende kinderen:
      - Eleonora, in 1202 gehuwd met graaf Raymond VI van Toulouse (1156-1222)
      - Constance (1179-1222), in 1198 gehuwd met koning Emmerik van Hongarije (1174-1204) en in 1209 met Frederik II (1194-1250)
      - Sancha (1211-1241), gehuwd met graaf Raymond VII van Toulouse (1197-1249)
      - Alfons II van Provence (1180-1209)
      - Ferdinand (1190-1249), abt van Monte Aragón
      - Dulcia, non
      - Peter II (1176-1213)
      - Raymond Berengar.

      Sancha steunde troubadours, zoals Giraud de Calanson en Peire Raymond. Zij kwam in een juridisch gevecht met haar echtgenoot over een aantal eigendommen die deel uit maakten van haar bruidsschat. In 1177 viel zij Ribagorza binnen en nam gewapenderhand bezittingen en verschillende kastelen in, die deel uit maakten van de kroon. Na het overlijden van haar echtgenoot in 1196 kwam zij op de achtergrond en trad in het klooster van Sijena in.
