Notes about Jan Wolfert

Jan Wolfert en Elisabeth Bergers kregen 7 kinderen; zoon Johannes (1802) sterft op jonge leeftijd, waarna in 1807 weer een zoon Johannes wordt geboren.
Elisabeth was een dochter van Jurrias Bergers en Wilhelmina Tigger.
Dat Jan het Flakkeese land heeft verlaten zal te maken gehad hebben met de werkomstandigheden op Schouwen-Duiveland.
Hij heeft daar zijn vrouw ontmoet, die afkomstig was uit St.Annaland. Elisabeth was toen 23 jaar oud.
De drie oudste kinderen zijn in Elkerzee geboren. Daarna verhuisde het gezin naar Stavenisse, waar weer drie kinderen zijn geboren en één gestorven en begraven.
In 1809 verhuizen ze naar St.Annaland, het geboortedorp van Elisabeth.
Enkele jaren na de geboorte van Lijntje (25-11-1814) is Elisabeth overleden aan een ernstige Ziekte, zij was toen 43 jaar en Jan bleef achter met zes kinderen.
Bij het inzien van de doopboeken is gebleken, dat bij de doop van alle kinderen oma Maatje Wolfert-Lodder als getuige aanwezig was.
