Mogelijk was ze dezelfde als Kunigunde van de Ardennen weduwe van paltsgraaf Wigerik. Richwin werd vermoord door ene Boso, zoon van Richard.

Settipani vermeldt op blz.264 van zijn "La Préhistoire des Capétiens" dat het niet geheel zeker is of uit bovengenoemde verbintenis Reinier I is geboren.
