Het echtpaar zou op 7-11 1916 in Strijp zijn gehuwd en het zilveren huwelijksfeest werd in 1941 gevierd. De huwelijksakte bleek echter niet vindbaar en het trouwboekje is door de vrouw verscheurd. Onderzoek via het Centraal Bureau voor Genealogie heeft in 2010 uitgewezen, dat het echtpaar een jaar later op 7-11 1917 in 's Gravenhage is gehuwd. Er was geen familie bij aanwezig en 2 gemeenteboden fungeerden als getuigen. De vader van de bruidegom verleende schriftelijk toestemming voor het huwelijk. De bruid was op dat moment bijna 7 maanden zwanger. Dat was kennelijk de reden voor het verscheuren van het trouwboekje, dat immers de werkelijke huwelijksdatum vermeldde.

Het echtpaar woonde in 's-Gravenhage in de Hobbemastraat 92. Ze keerden op 30-11 1937 terug naar Eindhoven. Na enkele maanden op de Hoogstraat 284 te hebben gewoond betrok het echtpaar op 29-4 1938 een nieuwbouwwoning aan de Ganzebloemstraat 5. Hun zoon Jac bleef na zijn huwelijk met zijn gezin bij hen inwonen. Dit huis werd nog tot 2000 door hun schoondochter Jo van Luijtelaar-Cornelissen bewoond. Van het echtpaar van Luijtelaar-Vermeesch zijn ultimo 2020 34 nakomelingen in leven: 6 kleinkinderen, 16 achterkleinkinderen en 12 achterachterkleinkinderen.

Beide echtegenoten stammen onder andere af van Heer Henrick van Landen (ca 1080-ca 1166) en zijn neef en nicht in de 25-ste generatie via Gravin Clementia van Gleiberg Potiers (ca 1058-1142)
en Graaf Gerard III van Gerle en Wassenberg (1058-1137)

Beroepen: knecht in Woensel (1901), dienstbode/landbouwer in Riethoven (1903-1905), portier in Eindhoven (1909) huisknecht in den Haag (1917, volgens de overlevering zou hij butler en jachtopziener zijn geweest), portier (1919), chauffeur (1929), hoofdvertegenwoordiger in Eindhoven (1937), handelsreiziger (1942), houtwarenfabrikant (1943), assuradeur (1944), daarna makelaar.
Zat van 2 tot 8 mei 1905 in de gevangenis wegens kattekwaad. Werd in 1910 veroordeeld wegens het ontduiken van de fietsbelasting en kreeg hiervoor een boete van 1 gulden. Kocht in 1946 een nieuwe auto met kenteken N-71263. Dit was in die tijd van schaarste opmerkelijk, aangezien de oorlog net voorbij was en veel mensen armoede leden.
