Jacob werd geboren op 10 september 1929 in Ede, Nederland. Hij groeide op in Lunteren, Nederland.
Hij hield van landbouw en hield ervan varkens te voeren, struiken en hekken vrij te maken.
Jacob zal gemist worden door zijn vrouw Rita Molenaar; kinderen: Ria, Peter, Diana en Richard en hun echtgenoten; 12 kleinkinderen en 2 achterkleinkinderen.

De uitvaartdienst werd gehouden op dinsdag 13 maart 2018 om 13.00 uur in de Victory Church on the Rock in Grande Prairie (7702 100 St.) met dominee William Van der Woerd van de Covenant Reformed Church.

Jacob Molenaar, resident of the Grande Prairie and Crystal Creek area, passed into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Points West Hospice in Grande Prairie, at the age of 88 years.
Jacob was born September 10, 1929 in Ede, Netherlands. He was raised in Lunteren, Netherlands.
He loved farming and enjoyed feeding pigs, clearing bush patches and fence lines.
Jacob will be missed by his wife Rita Molenaar; children: Ria, Peter, Diana, and Richard and their spouses; 12 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by 4 brothers and 1 sister.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at 1:00pm, at Victory Church on the Rock in Grande Prairie (7702 100 St.) with Reverend William Van der Woerd of Covenant Reformed Church officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to STARS (10977 123 St., Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 7Z3).
