Notes about Gerrit van Leuverden

Antonie van Ooik: "VAN LEUVERDEN. Nazaten van Jan van Leuverden uit Amersfoort ca 1700 tot 1947", Soesterberg 2015.

Gerrit trouwde in de nederduits-gereformeerde kerk met Jannetje, die katholiek was gedoopt in de Kromme Elleboogkerk.Ze woonden in Amersfoort waar ze hun kinderen nederduits-gereformeerd lieten dopen. In 1801 overleed Jannetje Modee op 40-jarige leeftijd hetgeen werd geregistreerd bij de Weeskamer (Inv.nr.165). Ze werd begraven waarvoor op 24 februari 1801 de rechten werden voldaan aan de Lieve Vrouwekerk.
Waarschijnlijk vormde de weduwnaar Gerrit en zijn zus, de weduwe Jannetje (IV.b), met hun kinderen een gemeenschappelijk huishouden. Opvallend is dat beiden rond de jaarwisseling stierven (ongeval?) en op 30 januari 1808 de rechten voldaan werden aan de Lieve Vrouwekerk voor de begrafenis van zowel Gerrit als zijn zus Jannetje.
Aartje, de dochter van Gerrit, werd samen met Rijk en Albertus, de kinderen van Jannetje, geplaatst in het Burgerweeshuis te Amersfoort (Af inv.nr. 225). Met genoegen van de regenten en regentessen ging Aartje uit het huis om bij haar moei Van Leuverden (haar tante Aleida III.g, kind 6) op de Kortegracht te gaan wonen.
