In mei 1744 verliet Willem het Stadskinderhuis waarna hij het jaar daarop trouwde met Helena. Het nederduits-gereformeerde gezin woonde in Amersfoort, waar Willem van Leuverden voor zich en zijn huisvrouw in 1747 de Liberale gift betaalde. Hij woonde in de St.Jorisstraat van wijk Breul (Inv.nr. 2283).
In 1783 werd bij de weeskamer het overlijden van Leentje Jans geregistreed (Inv.nr. 150) en in datzelfde jaar werden op 27 december de rechten voldaan voor het openen van een graf, het overluiden e.d. ten behoeve van de begrafenis van Willem van Leuverden in de Lieve Vrouwekerk in Amersfoort. Zijn overlijden werd vervolgens in 1784 bij de Weeskamer vastgelegd (Inv.nr. 150).
