Het gezin woont in de Biezenpolder bij Sint Kruis. Dit was de parochie Sluis. Blijkbaar was Sluis te ver weg om dopen te voltrekken en werd in het nabij gelegen Middelburg te kerk gegaan. Vreemd genoeg vinden we het huwelijk van beide niet in Middelburg terug (?). Gezien de doopsels zal het huwelijk tussen april en september 1721 hebben plaatsgevonden.
