De Herwijnse korenmolen werd bij het overlijden van grootvader Reijer de Jager in 1901 eigendom van de broers Willem Gijsbert en Toon de Jager. De aan de molen gekoppelde firma kreeg de naam Gebr. De Jager. Cornelis, de zoon van Willem Gijsbert, werd eerste 'hulp' en na het overlijden van Willem Gijsbert (1942) en Toon (1948) eigenaar van de korenmolen. Cornelis de Jager had geen nakomelingen en heeft de molen verkocht (Ten Bruggencatenummer 03507 n).
