Hier heb ik de Rotterdamse tak van mijn familie verzameld. In de loop van de 17e en 18e eeuw kwamen ze allemaal richting Rotterdam, de meesten uit de omgeving, maar ook uit Brabant, Limburg, Gelderland en nog een deel uit Diestedde achter Münster.

De huidige versie (oktober 2019) is op een aantal punten verbeterd en uitgebreid. Mocht u nog onvolkomenheden tegenkomen dan graag even een berichtje.

Een bijzondere vondst bleek het testament van Jan Looijaard uit 1735: hij was toen ruim 14 jaar (zie scan)! Naar het oordeel van de notaris was hij in ieder geval wilsbekwaam.
