Pieter Pols zeeloods en Arij Zoet binnenloods beiden wonende den Briel verklaren zeer wel gekend te hebben wijlen Willem van der Reijden visser gewoond hebbende binnen den Briel gehuwd met Baartje Stehouwer vader van Klaartje van der Reijdenbeiden wonende in de Nieuwstraat alhier welke laatste de bruid is van Lambertus Jacobus Smit molenaar te Schiedam. Voormelde Willem van der Reijden is in 1795 van een visschuit van Pernis varende in zee geslagen en verdronken, waarbij Pols nog verklaarde met hem op voormelde schuit te hebben gevaren.
