Elgyn Eugene Lackmann, son of Johann Henrich Franciscus (Henry) Lackmann and Alice Mae Richards, was born in David City, NE on Aug. 22, 1917.

He was married to Marjorie Leger and they lived in Belle Fourche, SD. She is a graduate of the Brookings Agricultural college. Elgyn attended the McPhail's School of Music in Minneapolis. He died in San Jose, CA on Aug. 28, 2004.

It is not known whether Elgyn and Marjorie had children.
