VI-c Swaenje Eeuwes (Swaantje) Knol, daughter of Eeuwe Jacobs and Grietje Dercks Knol (see V-f). She was baptized on August 7, 1687 in Warffum. Swaantje died before 1723, at the most 36 years old.
Swaantje married, at the age of 28, on 01-12-1715 in Oldenzijl, gem. Uithuizermeeden with Jan Remges, around 22 years old. Jan was born about 1693 in Oldenzijl, gem. Uithuizermeeden. Jan died around 1748 in Warffum, at the age of about 55 years. Jan later married on 12-10-1723 in Oldenzijl, gem. Uithuizermeeden with Jantjen Jacobs.
Note to Jan: occupation: farmer on Hayemaheerd since 1744, landday comparant.
Jan came to the church in Usquert with a certificate on 08-10-1730.
They bought Hayemaheerd in 1744 from Freerk Berents Cleveringa for 3,000 Caroli guilders. It is a former terp farm, Oosterstraat 10 in Warffum, the buildings that are now there date from 1875.
