    Evert Alles Smit (1844 - 1920) with his wife Edske Diephuis (1846 - 1924)
    Sietje Alles Smit (1841 - 1913), her husband Sebe Diephuis (1847 - 1932) and their four young children Klaassien (1873 - 1897), Anje (1875 - 1894), Eiso "Isaac" (1877 - 1958) and Alje Evert (1880 - 1947)
    Sebe's brother Derk Diephuis (1857 - 1954), his wife Hillechien Ploeger (1853-) and their children, Eise (1876- )and Trijntje (1878-).
  • He died on November 4, 1920 in Muskegon, Muskegon County, Michigan, United States, he was 76 years old.
  • He is buried on November 6, 1920 in Oakwood Cemetery, Muskegon, Muskegon, Michigan, United States.Source 3
