Notes about Dora DUTSON

Dora Dutson Flack passed from this life on December 10, 2011 in Orem, Utah at the age of ninety-two.

Dora was born July 9, 1919 in Kimberly, Idaho to Alonzo and Iona Dutson. She served an LDS mission in the North Central States. On January 7, 1946, she married A. LeGrand Flack in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Throughout her life, Dora served in many callings in the church and performed many readings and programs. She served on several civic committees and was an accomplished author with many books and articles to her credit.

Dora was preceded in death by her husband, Alroy LeGrand Flack; and son, Mark Douglas Flack. She is survived by children: Lane (Judy), Kent (Sherry), Marlane Smith (Alan), Karen Hall (Ron), and Marie Whitmore (Drew); daughter-in-law, Annette (Marc); brother, John Muir (Jeanne); sister, Carol Clonch (Bob); twenty-nine grandchildren; and thirty-seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2011 in the Bountiful Twenty-Fourth Ward Chapel, 720 East 550 North. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, and Saturday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services.
Interment-Alpine Cemetery.
