Ormus L. ``Moose'' Dutson, age 80, died February 19, 1991 at Delta.
Born August 26, 1910 at Leamington, Utah to James N. and Susanna Lovell Dutson. Married Winona Dewsnup October 17, 1935 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Graduated from Hinckley High School. Attended Snow College where he was an all-conference end in football. Later attended Brigham Young University. Current member of Cougar Club. Active in LDS Church serving as counselor to two bishops and as bishop of Deseret Ward (1947-1953). Member of Deseret Stake High Council. Served on Millard County School Board and chairman of ``Days of the Old West'' celebration; two terms as President of Utah State Beekeepers Association. Operated bees in Utah, California and Canada.Survived by wife, Deseret; sons, June L., Delta; Gary D., Deseret; Gill H., Brigham City; six granddaughters and seven grandsons; four great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Ben, Provo; Varley, Cedar City; May Fackrell, Salt Lake City; Nora Wright, Tooele; Eleanor Curtis, Ogden.
Funeral services held Friday February 22, 1991 11 a.m. in Deseret Ward LDS Chapel. Friends may call at Nickle Mortuary Thursday 7-8 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Burial in Deseret Cemetery.
