Op 28 januari 1845 dient er een hoger beroep inzake aanklacht van Hanna tegen haar inwonende schoonzoon Cornelis van Reenen. Hij zou haar op 28 juli na een twist 2 keer geslagen hebben. Na eedere vrijspraak op 17 oktober 1844 wordt hij wederom vrijgesproken.
