A family archive is more than photos. The stories bring the family to life. How grandpa met his wife. What it was like in the parental home. The recipe for grandma's soup. You can write such stories down in your archive. Participants can too.

How to add a story

1. In your archive go to Stories and click Add story.
2. Give the story a title.
3. Write the text. You can use headings, lists and links.
4. Choose whether participants get a notification.
5. Save.

Participants can respond to the story and add to it. You can also give stories keywords, so they can be found.

Ideas for stories

• An interview with an elderly aunt. Record it and type it out.
• The history of the parental home or the farm.
• Occupations and traditions in the family.
• A transcription of an old letter or diary.
• Memories of holidays and celebrations.

With the free trial subscription you can post nine stories. With a Plus subscription the number is unlimited.
