You can create a family archive in a few minutes. All you need is an account. You also use that account for Genealogy Online, Open Archives and the Stamboom Forum.

How to create a family archive

  1. Log in or create a free account.
  2. Go to New family archive.
  3. Give your archive a name. The words "Family archive" are added automatically. For example: Family archive De Vries.
  4. Write a short description. Say which family it is about and what you want to collect. Everyone can see this text on the public page of your archive.
  5. Click save. Your archive is ready straight away.

You receive an e-mail with the web address of your archive. The archive contains some test material, so you can see how everything works. You can delete it again.

And then?

Put a few photos or documents in the archive. Then invite family members. They can look and respond right away. You start with a free trial subscription. That lets you create one family archive.
