2. Catherine BOWMAN born 14 January, 1826 who married Thomas BEVERIDGE in Aberdour on 9 Oct 1846. They had twelve children-- George 1847, Catherine 1851, Archibald 1852, Thomas 1854 (died young), Margaret 1855 (married William ARCHIBALD and had ten children in Aberdour), twins Alexander & Thomas 1857 (Thomas died young), Agnes 1859, Thomas 1861, Helen Bowman 1861, William, 1863 and Robert 1867.
Many descendants of this couple still live in Fife.

3. I am disputing the records in the book (note 2) regarding Catherine and Thomas's family. I find a Thomas born 1854 in the 1871 Census??

4. The book, A Whispering in the Hearth, states that Catherine Bowman was born in June. Her birth record states January.
