    i. Archibald BOWMAN born 5 May was bapt. 12 May 1792; Witnesses Archibald & John Bowman coalhewers at Halbeath. He married Catherine PENMAN and had eight children. Archibald died in Dunfermline aged 50 in 1842.

Many descendants of this couple still live in Fife.
