Notes about Agnes Farcher Forker

1. AGNES FORKER was bp. 12 May 1687, Largo p., res. Caffendeed(?), dau. of George Forker. It is thought that she may be the one who m. John King 23 Nov. 1711, Largo p., after being proclaimed there 20 Oct. [172]. The naming custom was apparently not followed, but their first dau., Sophia, an uncommon Christian name, may have been named for Agnes' younger sister. There was no other Agnes Forker found in Largo bps. who would qualify as the ancestor.
