Notes about Elizabeth Simpson

1. Elizabeth Simpson's birth register states her Father is David Simpson. David must have died before 15 January 1842, as that was the marriage date, of Elizabeth and Robert. I have recorded David, as Elizabeth's Father, but feel that a mistake has been made in the register! (see note 2)

Elizabeth Simpson's Parents: The birth record for Elizabeth states that her Father is David, not Robert Simpson, but see the note attached to his profile (in the online tree in ancestry.co.uk). The death record also states that her mother is Margaret Stein, not Elizabeth Stein. The only Simpson/Stein marriage so far traced is Robert Simpson and Elizabeth Stein in 1842. The dates suggest that Elizabeth's birth record in this instance is incorrect!
