      1819 DUNSYER, DAVID JANET MATHEWSON (Old Parish Registers Marriages 459/40 501) Wemyss
      David, the fourth son of Andrew/Agnes Nicol, married Janet Mathewson 30 JUL 1819. In 1822 he was described as a 'coaler' in Wemyss Colliery, later in Coaltown of Wemyss, and from 1834 in Methilhill. Janet was the daughter, b.17 FEB 0 1799, of David Mathewson, a Coal Miner , and Catherine Wilson (m.13 MAR 1790. West Wemyss) - named in Janet's death certificate [MB] She died 2 JUL 1859, aged 60, of cancer, and is buried in East Wemyss churchyard.
