    Bij het huwelijk van Derck Boelens en Jantien Jans trad Jan Boelens op als getuige. Hij was de vader van de bruidegom Derck Boelens.

    In 1709 ontving de bruid van haar vader in de huwelijksvoorwaarden een bedrag van 7.500 gulden ter gelegenheid van haar huwelijk, zie: RHC GrA, RA, III-ij, 17 januari 1709 (Derk Boelens en Jantje Jans).
