    Toncko Ulpherts Somerdijck is mogelijk degene, die gedoopt wordt op 17 oktober 1675 in de Hervormde kerk van Midwolda als zoon van Olfert Tonckens, landbouwer te Midwolda, no. 46m, en Henrika Maria Clinge. Toncko overlijdt kort voor 14 november 1761 en woont dan in de Herestraat te Groningen (BDB). Hij is lidmaat der Oude Vlamingen in 1737 en 1760. Toncko trouwt op 15 december 1709 met Antje Jans in de doopsgezinde vergadering (door Derck Alles van Groningen). Antje heeft als neef Pieter Jans. Ze is geboortig van Usquert. Toncko trouwt nogmaals op 26 oktober 1725 in de doopsgezinde vergadering (door Pieter Folkerts van Groningen) met Grietje Harmens. Ze heeft als oom Geert Sierts. Grietje is in 1725 weduwe van Caspar Luijes, van Middelstum.
