Het voorgenomen huwelijk van Egbert Johan Dommering en Jacoba de Klark werd afgekondigd op 18 en 25 juli 1897 te Arnhem, Groningen en Leiden. Egbert woonde in Groningen en minder dan 6 maanden geleden in Leiden, Jacoba woonde in Arnhem.
Getuigen bij het huwelijk waren Antonie Adriaan de Klark, oud 53 jaar, onderwijzer, oom van de bruid, wonende te Rozendaal, Hendrik Jan van de Westeringh, oud 46 jaar, kantoorbediende, wonende te Arnhem, Ede Dommering, oud 28 jaar, koopman, broer van de bruidegom, wonende te Groningen en Reintje Rijkens, oud 29 jaar, zonder beroep, wonende te Groningen.
De ouders van de bruid en de moeder van de bruidegom waren aanwezig en gaven hun toestemming tot het aangaan van dit huwelijk.
Door het bruidspaar werden overlegd 1e hun geboorteakten, 2e de overlijdensakte van de vader van de bruidegom, 3e een certificaat van de Nationale Militie dat Egbert aan zijn verplichtingen had voldaan, 4e een bewijs van huwelijksafkondiging in Groningen en Leiden.

Notes about Jacoba "Coba" de Klark

Egbert Johan en Jacoba vertrokken direct na hun huwelijk naar Bandoeng in Nederlands Oost Indië.
In 1901 woonden zij in Meester Cornelis.
In 1909 is Coba met vacantie in Nederland geweest. Op 16 october 1909 vertrok zij met een kind van Amsterdam naar Batavia met het stoomschip Koning Willem III. Gezagvoerder was G.Visser.
Ook in 1930 kwam Jacoba van Batavia naar Nederland, nu met het stoomschip Johan de Witt, gezagvoerder J.B. van Meeuwen. Men vertrok uit Batavia op 11 december 1929; op 3 januari 1930 waren ze op hun reis van Batavia naar Amsterdam gevorderd tot Genua, waar o.a. Jacoba van boord ging. Waarschijnlijk heeft zij haar reis over land vervolgd. Zij woonde toen in nederland. Wanneer zij naar Indië vertrokken is is onbekend.

Op 8 juli 1941 werd aan Jacoba een persoonsbewijs uitgereikt met nummer 273798.
