Door het bruidspaar werden overlegd 1e hun geboorteakte, 2e de overlijdensakte van de moeder van de bruid, 3e een certificaat van de Nationale Militie dat Ernst Frederik aan zijn verplichtingen voldaan had, 4e een bewijs van de afkondiging in Amsterdam.

DE COMMISSARIS DER KONINGIN IN DE PROVINCIE GELDERLAND verklaart, dat aan Ernst Frederik de Klark geboren te Arnhem op 24 Juli 1878, zoon van Jacobus Antonie en van Francina Johanna Monteba, bij de loting voor de lichting der nationale militie vanhet jaar 1898 voor de gemeente Arnhem is ten deel gevallen No. 182, en dat hij een nummerverwisselaar heeft gesteld, die op den 7 Maart 1898 is ingelijfd bij het 8e regiment Infanterie en op den 22 Maart 1903 met een briefje van ontslag is weggezonden.
Gegeven te ARNHEM, den 20 September 1904.
De Commissaris der Koningin in de provincie Gelderland,

Het Nieuw Arnhemsch Adresboek vermeldt volgende adressen:

Het beroep is steeds koopman, behalve bij mevr. Daar wordt geen beroep vemeld.

In het bevolkingsregister van Amsterdam is sprake van "gekomen uit Indië". Misschien is dat de periode dat alleen mevr. de Klark genoemd wordt in het adresboek en was Ernst Frederik alleen in Indië.
