De Commissaris der Koningin in de provincie Groningen verklaart, dat aan Albert Pieter Hahn, geboren te Groningen op 19 Maart 1877, zoon van Gerhardus Henderikus en van Johanna Christina Rentjes, bij de loting voor de lichting der nationale militievan het jaar 1897 voor de gemeente Groningen, is ten deel gevallen no. 28, en dat hij vervolgens bij onherroepelijk geworden uitspraak van den Militieraad uithoofde van lichaamsgebrek op grond van n. 293* v/h Reglement op de .......... van den dienst is vrijgesteld.

Albert Hahn was een bekend politiek tekenaar. Hij volgde de Tekenacademie Minerva in Groningen en bezocht de Rijksschool voor Kunstnijverheid in Amsterdam. Op 9-jarige leeftijd kreeg hij tuberculose in een ruggewervel en zijn studie in Amsterdam moest hij twee jaar onderbreken door tuberculose.
