Conc. Trident. mas que o não podem fazer sem que primeiramente sejam por Vxcia Revma dispensados no 2º grau de consanguinidade em linha transversal igual ao que se achão ligados; porque Anna Julia da Costa Brito, mãe do Orador, é irmã germana do Dr. Bento José da Costa Jor. pae da Oradora; e porque Izabel Maria da Costa Ramos avó materna da Oradora era irmã de Bento José da Costa avô materno do Orador. As causas que allegão para conseguir esta graça são: a frequencia diaria do Orador em casa da Oradora, d'esde a infancia, a publicidade entre parentes e conhecidos d'esse futuro casamento de vantagem para ambos, alem do mutuo affecto que entre elles existe, sendo que no estado actual a não realização d'esse acto será desagradavel a reputação da Oradora. O Orador por si e seos paes nada possue, vivendo apenas do ordenado que vence em uma Casa Comercial d'esta Cidade; a Oradora por si nada possue, seo pae porem que tem cinco filhos possue sujeito a dividas a quantia de vinte contos de reis. Nestes termos, P.P. a Vxcia. Revma. Deferimento orabunt ad Dominum, Bento de Assis Brito, Anna Izabel Ramos da Costa”.

Snr.: Pelo Breve Apostolico de 25 anos de 24 de Fevereiro de 1874 Dispensamos a estes oradores no 2º gr. l. eg. s. de cons. e absolvemos de qualquer censura para se casarem. O Revdo. Parocho lhes imponha salutares penitencias. Palacio da Soledade 11 de Janeiro de 1887. D. José, Bispo Diocesano”.
