Left Georgia December 1851 for Texas. Archibald's discription as toldfrom granddaughter Penn ie Cone Williams said: He was about 6 ft. inheight, slender and active, high of forehead, de ep set blue eyes, longdark lashes, heavily arched brows, a rather long sharp nose and a firmset mounth and chin bespoke his strong and commanding personality, he wasalways clean shaven . His religion w as UniversalSalvation and was very strong and firm in that doctrine. A moralist inthe strict est sense of the word. After they moved to Texas he droppedhis profession and got involved i n Farming, Stock, Raising,Ginning,Blacksmithing and Mercandising. With son's James, William , Henry, Greenand Alfred and Son in law Kinchen Walker formed the CompanyCone Walkerand Comp any. After a horse drive several years after the Civil War,exhausted from the drive, Archibo ld took to his bed and 2 weeks laterpassed quietly away
