~1820 : Born, possibly in Borrisokane, Ireland. Birth calculated from daughter JuliaGÅ ??????à?????????????/s marriage record.
Note: It is unlikely that there were two Thomases. Further research required.
It is assumed that Thomas is a brother to John Rolston ASHBURY because in 1881 his daughter Julia and her husband are living in Windemere St, Everton, LAN. John RolstonGÅ ??????à?????????????/s wife, Ellen, by then a widow, was staying with them, and she is recorded in the census as their GÅ ??????AuntGÅ ??????à?????????????/. (She could of course have been the Aunt of Joseph NEWMAN.)
