    Harm verkeerde op 11-6-1892 in een zeer deerniswaardigen toestand en was zeer ernstig ziek volgens geneesheer Koster uit Lutten. Hoogstwaarschijnlijk leed hij reeds lange tijd aan diabetes mellitus en was hij aan bovenste en onderste ledematen gedeeltelijk verlamd, terwijl ook reeds enkele inwendige organen aan die verlamming deelnamen. Ook had hij een zeer ernstige decubitus (doorliggen) op verschillende plaatsen.
