Zij verklaren zich op 27-07-1642 verloofd te hebben en de huwelijksvoorwaarden zijn overeengekomen. Joseph Coymans geeft financiele steun, evenals Maria van Santen, die daarvoor de brouwerij De Werelt in huur krijgt. Sterft Anna als eerste kinderloos, dan zijn haar juwelen voor haar man, plus 5000 gulden. Sterft hij als eerste dan krijgt zij 10.000 gulden. Mede ondertekend door:
-Mr. Jacob Druyvesteyn,(x Wilhelmina Coymans), raad en schepen van Haerlem en gecommiteerde in de rekencamer van de generaliteyt in 's-Gravenhage,
-Johan Bernart,
-Mr. Mathijs Berck, raad en pensionaris van Dordrecht,
-Jacques van Damme,
-Jan Euwoutsz Prins en
-Antony Claesz van Aeckeren, brouwer.
NB: Prince of Prinse wordt ook geschreven als Prins.

Notes about Balthasar De Jonge Coymans

Willem Coymans (1623-1678) was lid van een van de rijkste Nederlandse koopman families. Hun wapen van ossen hoofden hangt aan de muur, de Nederlandse naam Coymans letterlijk vertaald is"koemannen". Onder het schild, een Latijnse inscriptie staat dat Willem was 22 jaar oud in 1645. Hals zelden dateerde zijn schilderijen. Gezien de zeldzaamheid van zijn dateringen met vermelding van de leeftijd, moet de inscriptie op verzoek van de patroons aangebracht zijn om te dienen als genealogieen.
