    Alyce Greenfield, 81, of Waupun, died Saturday, March 05, 2011, at UW Hospital in Madison.

    Alyce Greenfield was born March 15, 1929, in the town of Alto, the daughter of Edward and Gertrude Bossenbroek Kamphuis.

    On Feb. 19, 1949, she married Clarence Greenfield in the town of Trenton. Following their marriage they moved to the Alto area where they farmed for 35 years and retired to Waupun in March of 1984. Alyce was a charter member of Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Waupun.

    She was a leader of the Alto All Stars 4-H for 29 years. For 40 years Alyce helped prepare banquet and wedding dinners at Central Wisconsin Christian High School.

    Alyce is survived by her four children - Richard (June) Greenfield of rural Markesan, Mary Nell (Philip) Hofman of rural Waupun, Calvin J. (Jodi) Greenfield of rural Waupun, Michelle (Steve) Beer of rural Waupun; 11 grandchildren - Loren (Gill) Greenfield, Mitch (Terri) Greenfield, Steve (Angela) Greenfield, Becca (Luke) Lentscher, Leah (Ben) Buteyn, Anna Hofman, Jennifer Greenfield, Bryant Greenfield, Lydia Greenfield, Brandt Beer, Macy Beer; nine great-grandchildren - Andrew, Sam, Joel, Lucas, Owen, Michael, Matthew, Linnea, and Conner; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.

    Alyce was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence in 1986; a grandson, Benjamin Hofman; two brothers, Garret E. Kamphuis and Raymond Kamphuis; two sisters, Edith Vande Zande and Marjorie Bossenbroek.

    Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Waupun with the Rev. Jeff Brower officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in the town of Trenton.

    Friends and relatives may call on the family on Monday at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
