FERNELITH or Forneleth (This is Gaelic 'Forbhflaith', meaning 'perfectprincess') suo jure Countess of Atholl, aunt and heir, being the youngerof the 2 daughters and coheirs of Henry. She married before 1242, DavidHastings, who, in her right, became Earl of Atholl, and, as such, was oneof the guarantors of a treaty of peace with Henry III, in 1244. Shesurvived him. Note: Fernelith became Countess after her elder sister Isabel's sonPatrick 5th Earl of Atholl died unmarried in 1242. She became Countessquite late and I think she was probably married much earlier than 1242.
