SPAW, Boyd, age 82 of Hwy 1248, Somerset, passed away Thursday, July 27 (2000) at Sunrise Manor. Born October 4, 1917 in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late Cornelious and Priscilla Robinson Spaw. Survivors include one brother, (sister Cloye) Hughes of Somerset; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mildred Johnson Spaw; five brothers, Jim, Hove, Lonnie, Archibald and Milford Spaw; five sisters, Ada Dick, Myrtle Roy, Nannie Dick, Mildred Hughes and Gertie Dick. He was a retired Pulaski County Road Foreman, a US Army WWII veteran, a KY Colonel, and a member and deacon of Saline Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 29 at Somerset Undertaking Company with Bro. Noah Broughton officiating. Burial was in White Oak Cemetery in Nancy. Spaw book by Karen Hines.
