Note:
Isaac Cox, and his wife Mary Stanley Cox, are buried in the Cox - Wright Cemetery in Columbus County, North Carolina.

It would seem by the 1880 census of Columbus County, that Isaac Cox was married twice. He has most of if nor all the children at home that he had by Mary Stanley. Now he has a new wife M. Ternacy, she is listed as 54 years old and must be a widow because there are 3 children listed as step children with the surname of Jenrette. They range in age from 30 to 14 years. (WSH)
